Just waiting...

I'm now waiting for my boss, Dr. Harvey Carter to get out of one meeting so we can start another.. And let's pray that it is quick because I have The Porch tonight!!!

Bonfire.   What began as a trash heap in 1909 grew into a massive wedding cake design, which at its tallest stood 109 feet, 10 inches.  Follow Me..   That's what God asks us to do.. and as believers we say, of course we will follow you!  But what if he tells us to go some where we don't want to go?  Like Jonah being called to preach to those who will persecute his people.  So he fled.  And you know how that story goes; the whale in God's mercy gets him back to dry land; and when Jonah finally followed his calling, on the first day in his journey the entire town repented.. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to live in Dallas, 12 years now actually.  I love Dallas!  The food, the shops, the fashion... Let Go and Let God!

"When the past is still guiding your present, it also shapes your future.  That is way too much power."  There is something bigger ahead and something greater in store for you.  However, the past has a pulling power that can distract, delay, and even destroy your destiny.  Instead of giving the past power, give it perspective.   You must press onward and refuse to look back by destroying the bridges that connect you to your P.A.S.T.  What P eople, A ssociations, S ituations and T hings are hurting you instead of helping you?  What do you nee d to leave behind in order to move forward? Who do you need to forgive in order to push forward?
