Support Missions

Pastor Gregg Matte at Houston's First Baptist has a wonderful saying, "either you are going on missions, supporting missions, or being disobedient" I heard of this girl named Katherine Page through one of my community group members when I was in Dallas.  And now that I am in Houston, I have had the opportunity to meet her and be blessed by her artistic skill.  Katherine is going to serve in missions this summer- 2 months, 5 countries, and you can support her!  She is selling crosses and T-shirts to raise money for her trip.  If you feel called to support her, please check them out and she can even do custom crosses if you'd like! Here's her blog: http://katherinelpage.wordpress.com/ Link to support her through buying a T-shirt: http://katherinelpage.wordpress.com/2011/02/10/t-shirt-sale/ Link to some of her crosses: http://katherinelpage.wordpress.com/2011/02/04/being-teachable/   (just message her for custom work) Enjoy and be blessed!

Now it's funny because one of my best friend's JUST got engaged too, and she brought up how funny it was that I was going to be the last one in our group to get married.  In college I had 3 close girlfriends and I was the only one with a serious boyfriend.  We dated for a couple of years and every one thought we were going to get married.  Obviously, we did not.  No hard feelings, great guy, just not what God had planned.  But now all thr
